New Government Building Update

The construction progress of the new senate building in Fort Bonifacio Taguig city.This massive project scheduled to be finished by 2024.

The new Senate headquarters on a 1.8-hectare property at the Philippine Navy Village will have enough space for at least 65 senators, just in case the country changes its government to either federalism or parliamentary.

The design of the 11 storey building is made by American engineering and architectural firm Aecom.

The future Senate headquarters will have four towers within Fort Bonifacio,Taguig city.

The complex was designed to have a three-level parking area for 1,200 cars and offices for at least five dozen senators.

The senators originally earmarked a total of P8.5 billion for the project, but the bid of Hilmarc’s gave them some P500 million in savings.

Senate function floor has amenities like a dignitaries lounge, senator lounge, ceremonial hall, and session hall. The staff amenities include a library and archives, committee room, staff canteen, clinic, and gym. The public hall has Public floor has a public assistance office, food court, auditorium, museum, and a viewing gallery overlooking the session hall.

The construction of the Bureau of Immigration’s (BI) new main office along Macapagal Blvd. in Pasay City is set to be completed soon.The new building is expected to be finished soon and will serve as the Bureau’s new main office.

This new Bureau of Immigration main office building was established as part of our commitment to provide better service to the public.

The new office was built in 2018, and it comprises a 7-story main office building and a 5-story annex building with an atrium.

The Bureau of Immigration main office is set to move to a new location from Intramuros, Manila to Macapagal Boulevard in Pasay City after the completion of the new facility later this year.
