The Ever-changing Landscape of Cambodia | SLICE | FULL DOCUMENTARY

In this unique region in the centre of Cambodia, the Mekong River becomes larger and its shores spread apart. A kind of delta rises up in the middle of its course, spreading over a couple of kilometres.

During the dry season when the water level is low, countless islands sheltering tiny villages appear. The dry season lasts several months and turns the land in the fields into a hard, cracked and dusty crust.
