Sing Your Voice

Sunlight coming through the window, Teacher writing on the board. Passing notes beneath the table, Making plans when we got bored. We knew every crowded hallway, Every corner, every name. What felt like an ordinary morning Would never feel the same again. We kept wishing for tomorrow, Like today would never end. Now the days are moving faster, And we're almost at the end. Before we say goodbye, Let's take one more drive. Past the school and down the roads Where we learned about life. Turn the music up, Let the whole town hear us sing. We may leave these halls behind, But we'll carry everything. We still have tonight, So hold on to this time - Before we say goodbye. We had victories and failures, We had hearts that broke in two.
