Google Search Console has finally released its new Generative AI Performance Report, giving us our first look at how websites perform in AI Overviews and other Google AI search experiences.
In this video, I walk through the new report, explain what the data actually means, and show you how to get much more value out of it using my new tool, AI Share. Since Google currently only provides AI impressions by URL, I'll show you how to combine that data with your regular Search Console exports to uncover likely keywords, estimated prompts, AI winners, and pages that need optimization.
This creates one of the first real feedback loops for GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), allowing you to test content changes and measure how they impact your AI visibility over time.
